VOICES UNBARRED
Voices Unbarred centers the voices of people impacted by incarceration, and collaborates with theatre practitioners and policy organizations, to creatively reimagine the prison system and advocate for change. Through theatre and justice workshops, script writing, and interactive performances, participants affected by incarceration in the DC area are given a platform to share their stories, tackle complex issues, and lead the criminal justice reform movement.

We are honored to announce that Spur Local is supporting our work! Being part of their 2024 class, alongside incredible peer nonprofits, shows both the critical impact we make as an organization and our collective strength as a local movement. We are so thrilled for this opportunity to deepen our fundraising capacity through exposure, workshops, and resources, and our call for 25 people to donate $25/month is a great way for us to start this new chapter strong!
